I don't see a whole lot of activity here on the site, but maybe someone will drop by and see my post and answer my questions for me.
My almost 8 month old isn't sitting up to play and rolling over much. She can, but does't have her balance very well yet, and I am wondering if this is abnormal or anything to worry about?
Is your baby doing all of this?
Do I need to be talking to a doctor about my concerns?

Hi, I just signed up with this site. My daughter is 6 1/2 months and she has been rolling around like crazy for the past month and a half. She isn't sitting up that well yet. She can sit up for about 10 minutes before she rolls over or just falls. I think that its normal because every baby has there own time where they start to do things. I mean my daughter had no teeth until she turned 1. That was weird in my family because everyone in my family had their first tooth by the time they were 4-5 months. (my mom was even joking telling me that if my daughter doesnt have a tooth by the time she is 1 then her birthday present will be a set of baby denture :)

So I guess im just saying give you child time. And when you go to your childs next dr. appointment then just ask them.

Hope I helped<

My son just turned 9 months old and I took him to the dr. for his well baby check and the dr. told me that as long as my son is sitting up at this age it's normal. My son has been sitting up for 4 months and is already crawling and pulling himself up to a standing position using the furniture and things. So I guess in all reality he is advanced. I imagine you have an appointment with your dr. next month for the baby's 9 month check up. I wouldn't get to worked up about it. I would just wait until then and let you dr. what you baby is or isn't doing and then see what he or she says.

I do not have any children but i work in a daycare so i get to see how kids progress. There is a 1 year old that refuses to even stand up when all the other 1 year olds are walking. So its not my place to say and you should deff ask your doctor the next time you go about it but she may just be stubborn and have a mind of her own and doesn't want to do it yet. Hope I helped.

Hi there. My 8 month old daughter is doing all of those things now, but my 2 year old son was a little later in doing them. He is your average two year old now. If you feel concerned, do talk to your doctor, but just remember that some babies develope at different rates.
