I am pregnant for the fifth time. I worry because my last two pregnancies were miscarriages. I have a 4 year old boy who we had to give up for adoption and a two year old healthy little girl. I still can't help but worry that something could be wrong with this baby. I'm only seven weeks and can't have an ultrasound for at least five weeks.

I know the wait and see game is very difficult but unfortunately that's what we have to do. Why do they have you waiting so long to check for a heart beat? I have lost two also and am now carrying my third. Things have not been easy and I was just diagnosed with an incompetent cervix so I understand your fear completely. Hang in there and best of luck to you!!

My doctor said that she wouldn't do a vaginal ultrasound because of the risk of puncturing the placenta. The doppler machine won't detect the heartbeat until at least twelve weeks. With my last miscarriage I didn't bleed or anything. That's what worries me. That I could miscarry and not know it.

I know the fear you speak of. I think I'm five months pregnant with my 4th child. I do not have insurance and I applied for medicaid but they gave me a 2,300 share of cost that I cannot afford. I'm so scared because I don't know if I have my dates right. I had $185 left from my tax refund, so I went to a local 3D sonogram where I did not a prescription. They let me listen to the baby's heart beat and did a sonogram but according to her it was either too small for the timing I gave her, or I have my dates messed up. I'm so scared I dont know what to do! I aslo tried calling Healthy Start and they said they only help mothers with Medicare. I also applied for WIC and they gave it to me for one month because I do not have a doctor. I'm really frustrated and scared. My husband does not have a job because of immigration issues and I do not have the entire $1,200 for rent this month. :-(

I feel your pain sweety. I had 2 miscarriages before this little miracle I'm pregnant with now. It's very scary, and I felt the exact same way you do. I was sure that something was wrong with the one i'm pregnant with now because of the pregnancy problems I've had in the past. I had to have an emergency ultra sound with my current pregnancy because I was bleeding a lot and they thought that I might miscarry again. They did the ultra sound and found out that everything looks fine . They just want me to be careful in everything I do and be on pelvic rest as much as I can.

Don't worry that something is wrong with the baby, try not to think like that. I know it's very hard, but we have to think positively. I had 2 miscarriages before this one, and now this one seems to be developing fine. They did my ultra sound and I was only 7 weeks along at the time. Did they tell you that they won't do one yet? You can see enough at 7 weeks for them to be able to let you know if everything's alright. You should push for that ultra sound so you can have piece of mind. Let me know what happens, i'll pray for you.

where do you live? I can not be;lieve no body can help you more than that.Maybe you need to move to a state that has better medicaid service. try michigan. They provide WIC athru the age 3 than you are put on mic. You go to the local health dept and get the pregnancy test here and take the results up to the case worker in family services and they will help you. they will give you food stamps and insurance. hope this helps you. theyb will order ultrasounds to check the date and other test as needed.

This is my first pregnancy. I have been scared because i am RH-negative and if you bleed you have to get a rhogam vaccine and you could possible lose your baby.I am 19 weeks and i just found out that it is a boy. But everything is great. I had an ultrasound done the first time i saw y doctor but then again i was 13 weeks. It took me forever to get my medicaid. so i know how it feels to have to wait. But everything is going great and i hope everything works out for you. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR UNBORN BABY.

I have two beautiful healthy children and am now pregnant again after having 3 miscarriages. The last one being the most painful, because I was so excited going in at 20 wks to find out the sex of the baby, and to find out the baby was not living was horrifying. I just pray that everything is well with this pregnancy and I will leave it in gods hands.
